Why It Matters
Damaged siding is usually a symptom, not the disease.
Cracked, warped, loose, faded, or missing siding isn’t just a cosmetic problem — it’s often the visible sign of moisture getting behind the wall. By the time a panel is buckling or you can push a screwdriver into a soft spot, water has usually been working on the sheathing underneath for a while.
That’s why our repairs go deeper than swapping a panel. We open up the affected area, find and fix the source — failed flashing, missing house wrap, a bad seam — replace any rotted sheathing, and re-weatherproof before the new siding goes on. The result is a repair that actually lasts instead of a patch that hides a growing problem.
Whether it’s a single storm-damaged wall or scattered failures across an aging exterior, we’ll assess it honestly and tell you whether a targeted repair or a full replacement is the smarter call for your home.

Siding Repair FAQ
Common siding repair questions
Can you repair just a section of my siding, or do I need it all replaced?
Often just a section — we do partial repairs and replacements all the time. It comes down to how widespread the damage is, whether we can match the existing profile and color, and what we find behind the siding. If the damage is localized and the rest of the siding has good life left, a targeted repair makes sense. When it's widespread or the match would look off, we'll lay out the repair-versus-replace trade-offs honestly.
Will you be able to match my existing siding color?
We work to match the existing profile and color as closely as possible. The honest caveat is that siding fades over time, so a brand-new panel can look slightly brighter than the weathered siding around it, especially up close on a sun-faded wall. We'll set expectations before we start, and on vinyl we can sometimes source a close match; on painted siding we can color-match paint.
Do you fix the water damage behind the siding, not just the siding itself?
Yes — that's the part that matters most. Damaged siding is often a symptom of a moisture problem: failed flashing, missing house wrap, or a leak that has rotted the sheathing underneath. We open up the affected area, replace rotted sheathing, correct the flashing and wrap, and then re-side. Patching over a hidden leak just delays a bigger, more expensive repair.
My siding was damaged in a storm — can you help with insurance?
We repair and replace storm- and hail-damaged siding regularly and can document the damage with photos and a written scope to support a homeowner's insurance claim. We can't file the claim for you, but a clear, itemized assessment of what was damaged and what it takes to properly repair it is exactly what adjusters want to see.
